Meet Scooter! As far as we know, Scooter is the world's only real life, scooter-riding sock monkey. With the help of Tamara at Sock Monkey Fun, we were able to adopt Scooter and bring him out to Colorado where he enjoys riding his Vespa and hanging out with his other sock monkey friends and scooter pals.
	Scooter quickly found out that it is hard to convince your friends that you are possibly the world's only real life, scooter-riding sock monkey if you don't actually own your own scooter. Having the helmet, the boots, the scars...just not quite as good as the real deal.
	03/15/2008 - The Denver Scooter Club and Sqream Scooter Club were invited to participate in the Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade, and there no way that Scooter was going to miss out on all the fun. Here you can see Scooter taking a break from the parade by visiting the Stranahan's whiskey truck, where George and Jess were graciously handing out free taste samples!
	03/30/2008 - We're not quite sure of the cc's on this, but Scooter finally has his own, erm, scooter! This beauty sports a padded seat, helmet storage and twist and go shifting. Scooter has been up late for several nights working on a custom paint job for his new ride and hopes to have it completed before summer.
	04/05/2008 - After some concern that his first helmet did not protect his fragile sock monkey ears, Scooter decided to invest in a DOT approved, slightly fancier, racing helmet. Thanks to the kind folks at Erico Motorsports, Scooter now has his very own HJC full face helmet! Once again proving that dedication to your sport can often open some interesting doors...who knew HJC made helmets for sock monkeys?
	04/05/2008 - You never know what you are going to encounter on a scooter ride...road debris, inattentive drivers, rain, largish dogs. It's a good thing that Scooter has planned for all possibilities and always wears his helmet. Here he encounters Bear, an excellent example of the largish dog variety of potential road hazard.
